Meet Maddie Bartley: The Duck Fighter
Maddie is one of our NIL Interns this summer and she is killing it! Maddie is originally from Morgan Town, West Virginia. She is going into her senior year at West Virginia University as a Design Studies major and Strategic Social Media minor. Maddie moved all the way to Chicago this summer for her intern position! Maddie found her passion for design in the sports industry when she was young. She grew up watching a ton of sports and when she realized her talent of design, she mended the two and has loved it ever since. Her favorite thing about NIL is being able to work with a variety of athletes and sports.
When she is not woking hard in the office, Maddie is spending her her summer exploring Chicago. She loves going to the beach and checking out new restaurants. She says the best restaurant in the city is Elephant and Castle. This summer, she is most excited to work on her skills as a graphic designer and gain more experience in the industry.
When asked the difficult question of “Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?” Maddie is confident in her ability to take on the ducks. Her strategy: step on them. This is the the kind of quirky response we love from Maddie!
Maddie is bringing so much to the Campus Ink office this summer, and we can’t wait to see what she will accomplish!
