Campus Ink Announces Florida State University as Official NIL Licensee

CHICAGO – The NIL Store powered by Campus Ink has announced Florida State University as an official NIL licensee, providing Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) merchandising opportunities for all Seminole student-athletes.

The NIL Store powered by Campus Ink will launch a complete NIL merchandise store for Florida State student-athletes, featuring jerseys and officially licensed apparel.

Campus Ink will work directly with Rising Spear to activate as many student-athletes as possible. Every athlete signed up will possess a personalized digital locker room which will house their merchandise.

“We are thrilled to add Florida State to our rapidly growing NIL Store family,” said Steven Farag, co-founder and CEO of Campus Ink. “As we worked with the University, we were incredibly impressed with Florida State’s commitment to providing its athletes with every possible NIL opportunity. We are excited to work with all Florida State athletes and bring their respective locker rooms to life.”

“On behalf of Rising Spear’s executive board, we are ecstatic to announce this partnership with Campus Ink,” said Will Cowen, Chief Operating Officer of Rising Spear. “Our men’s and women’s basketball student-athletes will kick off this launch in collaboration with our decorated list of professional alumni; followed by Softball and Baseball in the coming months.”

The NIL Store has previously launched stores with Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, Virginia Tech and San Diego State, with many more currently under construction.

The Campus Ink team handles all the creative, product creation, design, marketing, fulfillment and customer service for its student-athletes. Additionally, Campus Ink works directly with student-athletes to educate them on merchandising, marketing and sales trends to develop strategies for optimal success.

Backed by Mark Cuban, Campus Ink expanded into the Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) space in 2021 and launched the NIL Store, which serves as a merchandising solution for student-athletes and schools. The NIL Store operates with the firm belief that every student-athlete has an opportunity to capitalize on their NIL. Campus Ink was founded in 1947 on the campus of the University of Illinois and was reimagined in 2015 with an office in downtown Chicago and a production facility in Urbana, Il where the company handles all of its own production and fulfillment.

Rising Spear is a third-party collective not affiliated with Florida State University. The organization currently provides NIL opportunities to more than 200 FSU student-athletes in cooperation with businesses, community partners and donors. Rising Spear consists of two entities. Garnet Spirit Inc. is an approved non-profit organization designed to expand Tallahassee’s culture of fostering goodwill in the community. Our mission is to empower FSU student-athletes to positively impact underserved communities and empower young women to ascend in leadership positions. We execute this mission by engaging donors to fund ongoing appearances at Title I schools, sports clinics and other charitable organizations. Gold Standard is a traditional for profit entity providing student-athletes with traditional endorsement opportunities, local appearances and opportunities to participate in digital media distribution. Rising Spear Garnet and Gold Standard comply with local, state and NCAA NIL regulations and guidelines.
