Welcome, Carter! Or should we say Welcome back Carter? In his second year interning for Campus Ink, Carter Crane is working on the new NIL team where he is getting to create custom apparel for college athletes. His favorite thing to do is prospecting players. Growing up in Minnesota, he has been surrounded by professional sports teams his entire life. This summer Carter is gaining new knowledge in the college sports industry!
Fashion and Design
Although originally from Minnesota, Carter Crayne currently lives in Nebraska and attends the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He will be a senior in the fashion school this fall. His creativity not only shines through his work at school but also in the designs he creates for Campus Ink. He’s got jersey designs, t-shirt designs, logos, you name it, Carter will find a way to do it. When in need of creative inspiration, Carter finds it best to draw nostalgia from his childhood. He takes inspiration from old cartoons and even has a tattoo from his favorite childhood book, “The Frog and The Toad”.
Dynamic Duo
Carter’s switching it up this summer! Last summer he lived in Wrigleyville and this summer he’s in The Loop. His roommate is Nolan Ray who also attends the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Surprisingly enough, their paths never crossed at college but they quickly became inseparable. Carter says he is going to up Nolan’s fashion game and Nolan is going to put him to work in the gym. They go on walks together, thrifting, lake-trips, they are two peas in a pod.
The Stache
One of Carter’s known features by people is his mustache. Carter claims the only significance behind it is that he just can’t grow a beard saying, “I’ll take what I can get”.
With his talent and charisma, it’s no wonder why Carter Crayne has been so successful and is back for another summer. We are so excited to see what he does!
