If you’re like me, you avoid putting up any Christmas decorations until AFTER Thanksgiving. I am a firm believer that Thanksgiving deserves every bit of attention and is far too often overshadowed by Christmas. If you catch me launching a Thanksgiving Preservation Society, don’t be surprised.
That being said, I will concede to the idea that it’s never too early to start thinking about holiday gifts. Good gift giving takes planning. If your business, organization or department is in need of corporate holiday gifts, the time to start placing those orders is now. Promotional items like mugs or notepads can take up to four weeks to produce. And, with the fall being our busy season, printed or embroidered apparel usually has a turn around time of 2-3 weeks. The longer you wait the more difficult it becomes to deliver really nice gifts to your team.
Lucky for you, we’ve compiled a list of our Top 10 Corporate Gifts for the Holidays:
A tried and true classic. The beloved crewneck just can’t be beat. Crewnecks come in a rainbow of colors and textures making them totally customizable. This is the gift guaranteed to make people happy in the winter.
Hot beverages like coffee, tea and hot cocoa are fan favorites throughout the cold season. Why not gift your employees with a branded tumbler to keep their drinks warm all winter long?
Coming in at the number 3 spot is the quarter zip. Not quite a jacket and not quite a sweatshirt, the quarter zip is a trendy and flattering alternative to traditional pieces. Great for layering or wearing solo, this a great, unisex piece that can appeal to all types of people
The polo is another classic in terms of apparel. Polos are great because they automatically add a level of professionalism to any wardrobe. Available in men’s and women’s options, polos are a great practical item to gift members of your team.
Totes & Bags
If you are catching a theme here, we strongly believe in practical gifts that people will actually want to use. Some sort of tote or bag is a great example of that. When branded with your logo, bags become a great way for your business to be seen.
Beanies & Hats
Winter in Illinois is frigid. Beanies and other hats are wonderful gifts for your employees to help combat those cold temps and strong winds.
As much as we use computers and technology there is still something about taking notes the old fashioned way – with pen and paper. Branded notepads are another great, practical gift.
If your business does events where you are out and about in public jackets are a great way to reinforce your brand. Embroidered jackets are classy and commanding. Make your team stand out with a nice jacket as a holiday gift.
Something we’ve seen work with good success for past clients is getting a bunch of small items like chapstick, hand sanitizers and pens. When added to a bigger gift of your choosing, these can take your holiday gift to the next level.
